Welder Fabricator
Location: Worcester,
Pay: £15.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday - Thursday 07:30 - 16:15, Friday 07:30 - 15:00 (Full-time, Permanent)
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Welder Fabricator to join a skilled manufacturing team producing high-quality structural and storage systems. This role will involve working on both standard and bespoke projects using modern fabrication equipment and processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Read and interpret technical engineering drawings.
* Perform welding (MIG and Stick) on mild steel and occasionally stainless steel.
* Fabricate, assemble, grind, and finish components to specification.
* Carry out quality checks to ensure accuracy and weld integrity.
* Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
* Maintain a clean, safe working environment in line with H&S standards.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a welder fabricator in a manufacturing or structural steel environment.
* Skilled in MIG welding (Stick welding desirable).
* Ability to read and work from technical drawings.
* Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship.
* Familiarity with workshop tools, machinery, and safety procedures.
