Crynodeb
The post is for a Specialist Grade Doctor in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with special interest in Rapid Access and General Gynaecology. The post holder will be expected to carry out a range of duties covering many aspects of Womens Health. The post holder will provide support to the clinical team by doing 2 WW gynaecology clinics and general gynaecology clinics. The role involves being part of the senior registrar rota and participating in the on-call rota with a fixed night every alternate week as well supporting our Elective caesarean section lists and gynaecology operating lists with a view to build expertise to lead these lists independently after a period of time. The role will also involve providing expertise to our high risk women in the Maternity Triage and Maternity Day Assessment Unit. The department is committed to support the successful candidate for a transition into a more senior role such as a consultant through training and nurturing.
