Female Personal Assistant






A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF



I am an 8 year girl living in the Pontyclun area, I have lots of interests which include Swimming, going to the Park as I love to run free and go on the slides. I also like using my iPad and watching different things.



I am nonverbal and have been diagnosed with ASD as well as an intellectual Disability, Avoidant restrictive food intake which means that I will need your constant attention as I do eat things that I shouldn’t eat.



Sometimes I get overwhelmed and am normally very quiet and very sensitive to touch, I do try to hurt myself and may hit out when I am feeling this way. Personal care is needed as I am double incontinent and wear pull ups.





PURPOSE OF THE JOB



I would like 2 PA’s to work on a 2:1 basis to give me the opportunity to go outside of my family home and to help me manage my behavior when I am out as I do run off without seeing any danger.





HOURS OF WORK



4 hours per week working on a 2:1 with another PA.





RATES OF PAY

£14.00 per hour + Mileage.





TASKS CAN INCLUDE



Personal care and toileting needs
Social outings, community activities
any other reasonable task

ABOUT THE JOB

Though a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A trial period will be necessary in the first instance. The wage will be paid on a monthly basis and appropriate holiday pay given.

The post is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS (Police) Check - which will need to be carried out before employment can commence. The cost of this will be met by the employer (Local Authority).

The relevant checks will be carried out to ensure any applicant has the right to work in the UK
