Join our team at Merville Barracks to help manage the daily operations of the Cpl Budd Gymnasium and leisure facilities. This hands-on role supports the smooth running of the gym, sports halls, swimming pool, and reception while ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for military and civilian users.
Key Duties:
Oversee reception, fitness suites, sports halls, squash courts, and dry changing areas.
Provide cover for reception and lifeguard duties, including emergency assistance.
Manage and maintain gym, pool, and sports equipment; carry out regular checks and audits.
Ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance with health & safety and company standards.
Prepare areas for bookings, manage facility records, and liaise with military and civilian users.
What You’ll Bring:
Experience in leisure, fitness, or sports facility operations.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Knowledge of health & safety and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Desirable:
National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ).
Level 2 Fitness Instructor or Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification.

Package Description- 37 hours per week
- Shift pattern/ hours - Monday to Thurs - 07:45-16:30 & Friday - 07:45-13:15
- £12.71 per hour
