Crynodeb
The roles are based at our New Bedford Road campus in Luton. Your focus will be supporting learners in the classroom and assisting teaching staff in a range of practical and theory-based lessons to meet the needs of students. You will also spend some time supporting learners in out of class support sessions, working on individualised targets and helping to development independent study skills.
A pro-active and resourceful, learner-focused approach is required as you will be involved in creating individual support strategies plans, working collaboratively with curriculum-based colleagues.
You must enjoy working with people and have excellent communication skills as you will need to engage and motivate students who need encouragement with their studies. Experience working with young people and/or adults with a range of learning difficulties and disabilities is desirable.
Ideally you will be educated to at least Level 3 with qualifications in English and maths. Some knowledge of Educational Health Care Plans (EHCPs) and the procedure associated with gathering information for annual review meetings is desirable, but full training will be provided.
The roles are working part time, term-time only and the successful candidate must be available Monday – Wednesday.
You’ll have the full support of a dynamic team and opportunities to bring your ideas to the role. Training and development are at the heart of everything we do so you’ll be encouraged to upskill.
The closing date for applications is 7th October 2025
You can access a wide range of discounts and benefits including a cycle to work scheme, free on-site parking, and generous pension.
