well-being. Through innovative and purpose-driven approaches, we aim to challenge traditional norms and create a pathway for those
who might be overlooked by conventional financial institutions.

The Role:

Reporting to the Risk & Compliance Manager, you’ll ensure that key risks are identified, and controls are working well across the

keeping our customers best interests at the heart of what we do. This is an excellent opportunity to become a valued member of

* Through diligent Horizon Scanning, identifying and analysing issues and emerging risks and trends with an ability to interpret
complex legal and regulatory documents.
* Supporting the business in the operation, analysis, and resolution of risk events/incidents.
* Support the wider business with Risk & Control Self-Assessment, clearly articulating findings both within the department and as
part of strategic operational meetings.

Undertake assigned tasks related to the Audit & Risk activity, as required, to support departmental objectives including but not
limited to;

* Completion of 3rd party/supplier Due Diligence.
* Ensuring adherence to policy and procedure across the business.
* Leading or assisting with the roll out of risk-based training.
* Attending trade body webinars/seminars as a representative of Evolution.
* Monitoring business wide compliance by regularly monitoring the effectiveness of existing controls and identifying any areas of
non-compliance. This also includes staying up to date with changes in laws, regulations, and best practices affecting the
industry risk landscape.

Qualifications (minimum):

* A minimum of 2 years’ experience in regulated financial services, ideally in a risk or compliance capacity.
* Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of risk and control management frameworks, tools, and techniques.

* Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of UK regulatory framework (FCA and ICO).
* High level of attention to detail and high-quality standards.
* Excellent time management skills and ability to effectively manage changes to priorities and deadlines.
* Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills. Experience in addressing risk, control, and non-compliance issues
including Root Cause Analysis, identifying gaps and Corrective and Preventive Action.
* Excellent communication and organisation skills. The ability to clearly express ideas and communicate succinctly across a range
of colleagues, including senior managers.
* Ability to work as a member of a team and upon own initiative.

Desirable

* Industry recognised certification in risk management.
* Risk management software experience.

Here’s what you’ll get back:

* Up to 25 days’ annual leave + Bank Holidays
* Your birthday off, every year!

* A contributory pensions scheme, matched up to 5%
* Long Service Awards
* Cycle to work scheme
