Job Opportunity: Temporary Accounts Assistant - Huddersfield (£30,000-£35,000) Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary (with potential to become permanent) Location: Huddersfield Salary: Circa £30,000-£35,000 (depending on experience)
We're looking for a skilled and motivated Accounts Assistant to join our finance team on a full-time temporary basis. This is a hands-on role with real responsibility-and for the right candidate, there's potential for a permanent position.Key Responsibilities:
- Management of company bank accounts and accounting systems
- Debtor and creditor control, ensuring timely collections and payments
- Support with month-end processes, reconciliations, and reporting
- Assist in identifying and implementing improvements to financial procedures and systems
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in a similar accounts role
- Strong working knowledge of accounting software and Excel
- High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- A proactive, team-oriented approach
Duration:Temporary full-time role, with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate
