Two Available Vacancies:
Part-Time (30 hours per week - 4 days per week) - Fixed-Term for 12 months
Part-Time (11.5 hours per week - Saturdays Only - 8 am to 8 pm)

Customer Service Assistants deliver front line, first point of contact support and advice for students, staff and visitors across physical and virtual service points, including service desks, phone, email and web-based services, under the Integrated Help Desk (IHD).
You will work primarily at the Waterside Campus but you may be required to work in other buildings or at another location.
We are an accredited Living Wage Foundation Employer and currently pay the real living wage. In recognition of this, the starting salary for this post has been increased to pay the higher amount which currently supersedes the actual first spinal point of Grade 4 salary before living wage.
About you
You will have experience in delivering customer service, preferably in an education setting. You will be confident with IT and have the skills to learn and become proficient in new systems. You will be able to learn an enquiry management platform, as well as Microsoft Office 365 products. You will need to be able to work alone and manage your tasks and priorities.
You will be able to manage a busy workload and competing priorities. You will have excellent communications skills and be able to remain polite and professional under pressure.
You will be a flexible person, able to adapt to change and have an enthusiastic and committed personality. You will be able to adapt quickly to new technology, and new face new challenges with confidence.
You will display integrity and professionalism in your work, and support the University’s commitment to inclusivity, trust, sustainability and aspiration.
