Summary
A warm and informal family based in Coulsdon are seeking a full-time nanny housekeeper to support with both childcare and household duties. The home is relaxed and family-oriented, with two young boys (one of whom is autistic and non-verbal) attending school daily. The role combines morning and afternoon childcare with housekeeping in between, offering variety and the chance to become part of a caring, welcoming household.
Key Responsibilities
• Morning routine: dressing, breakfast, and school drop-off
• School runs between two schools (approx. 30 minutes apart)
• General housekeeping, including laundry, making beds, tidying, and replenishing supplies
• Afternoon school pick-ups and care until parents return at 5.30 pm
• Light meal preparation for the children and help with evening routine (changing into pyjamas, dinner prep)
• Opportunity to travel with the family on holidays if desired (not essential)
Requirements
• Proven experience as a nanny housekeeper in a private home
• SEN experience highly desirable
• Caring, patient, and nurturing personality
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently
• Full driving licence, confident with school runs (car provided for use on duty)
• Friendly and reliable, with a willingness to integrate into family life
