- Manage the wraparound care at a minimum of two schools in West Sussex, travelling between the two regularly and supporting teams working there.
- Be Level 3 qualified or have a commitment to complete this (funded by the company).
- Be confident with safeguarding, positive behaviour management and First Aid and willing to share your knowledge with staff team to ensure they are equipped to fulfill their role.
- Uphold and regularly review club policies and to check staff are doing the same. Highlight areas of need for further training or support among staff team and work with the Head of Operations to provide this.
- Deliver structured activities with enthusiasm and care.
- Lead and deliver day-to-day wraparound care: Breakfast and after-school clubs during term-time and holiday clubs in the school holidays.
- Work with staff to provide care, play and learning opportunities in a fun, friendly and inclusive environment.
- Manage inboxes and parent/carer enquiries.
- Manage online booking system and registers for a minimum of two schools.
- Maintain all records relating to the management of the provision ensuring confidentiality and data protection of the children, their families and members of staff.
- Develop professional working relationships with all relevant professionals and authorities including Ofsted as required.
- To ensure that adequate standards of safety and hygiene are maintained throughout the wraparound care, including the completion of appropriate risk assessments and recording and reporting of hazards and accidents.
- To order the food and support menu development
- To ensure that all staff work within the policies, guidance and procedures of the school including ensuring ratios are complied with.
- To have due regard for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and to follow the child protection procedures and safeguarding policy.
- To support the role of Designated Safeguarding Lead and undertake statutory safeguarding training and updates.
- To act as first aider.
- To carry out any other duties, which will be seen to enhance the work of the wraparound care provision.
