We are looking for a Management Accountant to support the CFO in driving efficiencies and transforming the finance function to support ambitious growth plans. This is a pivotal role that offers the opportunity to influence financial strategy and processes across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements
- Perform month-end processes ensuring all adjustments and reconciliations are completed on time
- Support financial planning cycles and scenario planning with key stakeholders
- Work with teams on inventory control and management
- Manage invoice finance facilities
- Review financial processes and systems to ensure cost-efficiency and continuous improvement
- Handle all HMRC, VAT, and tax submissions
The Ideal Candidate
- Fully or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or QBE with relevant experience
- Proactive problem solver with resilience in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter with strong communication skills
- Highly detail-oriented with advanced Excel skills
- Experienced with finance systems; Sage experience desirable but not essential
- Strong analytical skills
- Previous experience in wholesale or e-commerce is highly desirable
