A leading ambient food business based in Surrey is looking for a talented Category Insights Manager to join their dynamic and collaborative team. This award-winning company supplies all major UK retailers and foodservice customers with both branded and own-label products, and offers a fantastic opportunity to be part of a successful business.
In this role of Category Insights Manager, you’ll work closely with the Marketing Manager and Sales & Marketing Director to provide detailed, account-specific category insights and high-quality market analysis. You’ll play a key part in developing compelling customer presentations, making proactive recommendations based on market trends, and supporting the wider sales and marketing teams with strategic insight. Your analysis will help shape decisions across the business, from product development to customer strategy.
Person specification:
Minimum 1 year of experience in a data analytics role, ideally within the food or wider FMCG sector
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to present complex data clearly and effectively
Strong commercial awareness and the ability to translate data into actionable insights
Experience using Circana, NielsenIQ, or Kantar platforms is highly desirable
Degree educated and any additional analytics or market research qualifications would be an additional benefit
