We are looking for someone with exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to form strong and constructive relationships, both between Departments and with partners and communities. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the delivery of fire prevention initiatives, as well as education and youth and community engagement activities.
This Head of Department role will provide direction and innovation to design and deliver activities that seek to improve our engagement with communities, their understanding of us, and support our workforce diversity. Close working with other service delivery departments is essential to ensure community safety and engagement activities are high quality and aligned to strategic objectives.
The ability to provide direction and leadership to a diverse team of specialists is essential. Designing and evaluating services based on data, evidence, and evaluation of activities, to ensure that the team is reaching our target audiences and is seeking continuous improvement from the activities they undertake, will be vital for this role.
