Sir William Romney's School is seeking to appoint a Sports Centre Assistant to work at Sir William Romney's School Sports Centre during evenings and weekends on a casual basis.
You will assist in the smooth and efficient running of the Sports Centre and 3G pitch supervising users, setting out equipment and providing customer focused service to users. You will facilitate small groups of users during children's sports birthday party bookings which may include, for example, organising and supervising a children's football game or running a dodgeball session.
Please note that the school reserves the right to interview on receipt of applications, and to appoint prior to the deadline, so early application is recommended.
To ensure we conduct a fair shortlisting process we use blind shortlisting whereby personal information (such as name, email address, gender & ethnicity) are not made available to the short-listing panel. The Athelstan Trust is an equal opportunities employer. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share in this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check along with standard pre-employment safeguarding checks.
We are a flexible working employer and we are willing to make any reasonable adjustments you require during your interview so please ask us.
Please visit the school website for further information.
