Early Years Teaching Assistant & Playleader at Connect After School Club

About the Role
This exciting position offers variety, challenge, and the opportunity to have a meaningful impact on our pupils. Your role will begin each day by supporting children at lunchtime, helping to ensure they feel happy, safe, and cared for during their midday break. After this, you will transition into your primary role as an Early Years Teaching Assistant, where you will support children in the classroom with both their learning and social skills development. Finally, you will take on the role of Playleader at our welcoming Connect After-School Club, providing pupils with a fun, safe, and structured end to their day once school has finished.We are seeking someone who is:
Energetic, caring, and confident working with young children
Experienced in supporting pupils, especially those with additional emotional or social needs
Flexible, proactive, and positive in a team environment
Comfortable leading play-based activities and small learning interventions
Committed to the well-being, development, and safety of every child

Has a passion for high-quality, child-centred learning Brings creativity and energy to working with young children Has experience supporting children with social, emotional, or behavioural needs Understands (or is keen to learn about) neurodiversity in the classroom Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils Has a sense of humour, resilience, and a positive attitude Salary & Hours:28 hours 20 mins per week 12:15pm - 6:15 pm Mon-Fri Term Time Scale C ~ £19,000 pa Interested?
