Hours: 31 per week,: Monday to Friday, term time only , 5 inset days
Salary: Grade 3 Scale point (5-7) £13.26 to £13.69 hourly rate range, actual annual salary range £18,415 to £19,006
We are delighted to be able to advertise the role of Receptionist and Administration support.
The successful candidate will work under the direction of our Office Manager, Headteacher’s PA and school leadership to support the day to day running of the school office, administration tasks, greeting visitors and promotions. This role would be ideal for an experienced receptionist, looking for a new role and challenge. It would also be suitable for someone wishing to try a new role or begin working in education.
The successful candidate should be able to:
Meet and greet visitors on site, following sign in procedures
Complete administrative tasks including
Provide first aid for students and staff as required
Carryout promotional tasks to publicise the school and prepare the site for open events and evenings
Update the website and complete administrative tasks linked to its upkeep
Support in the administration and coordination of work experience and other whole school/year group events
Assist with general office duties as required.
The successful candidate should also be-
Hard working and fully committed to the ethos of the school.
Organised and systematic.
Willing to undertake First Aid training and any other pertinent CPD linked to the role.
Confident and have a good knowledge of technology i.e. Microsoft Office, internet, email, use of photocopiers etc.
Able to work independently showing initiative.
Have an ability to relate well to both children and adults.
Enthusiastic and willing to try new ideas, taking responsibility for new initiatives.
Capable of working with staff from all areas of the school, external agencies and partner schools.
Interested in continuing professional development.
An individual who is keen to contribute to the wider life of the school and enrichment.
