Graduate Teaching Assistant
Location: School based near Kenley, Surrey
Role: Full-time, Monday to Friday 8:30am–15:30pm
Salary: £500–£600 per week
Start Date: September 2025

Who We’re Looking For
The ideal Graduate Teaching Assistant will have:
• A recent degree (2:1 or higher) in any subject area, or another subject discipline
• An A Level Mathematics (preferred for non-Maths graduates) is desirable but not essential
• A genuine interest in working with and supporting young people
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A proactive and adaptable approach to learning and development
• Some experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential)
The Role

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:
• Provide 1:1 and small group academic support
• Assist teachers in delivering engaging and high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Support students of all abilities, from high achievers to those needing extra help
• Develop strong working relationships with pupils, inspiring them to reach their potential
• Contribute to the wider school community through extra-curricular activities and enrichment
• Work alongside experienced teachers, gaining insight into effective classroom practice and teacher training routes for 2026
