- Van Driver - £25,191- £25,590 per annum
- LGV Driver 7.5 - £25,995 - £26,409 per annum

About the Role
ESPO maintains a fleet of over 40 vehicles from 3.5 tonne to 13 tonne GVW (as well as using contract transport) to deliver goods. The Delivery Driver is normally responsible for one of the LGV vehicles.
ESPO drivers provide a contact point for customers; therefore, it is essential that they promote the Consortium image by being helpful and courteous at all times, and of smart appearance. Drivers have a general responsibility to operate at all times in accord with the statutory requirements, and good practice, of Road Transport Operation.
This role is a “Safety Critical Post” and, consequently, subject to random drug and alcohol testing in accordance with our policies and procedures. If successful in being appointed to the role, you will be required to agree to a planned test and achieve a negative result as part of any conditional offer of employment and/or during your probationary period. A copy of our Substance Misuse Policy and Procedure is available upon request.
About You
To apply for this post, you must:
- Monday to Friday with no overnight stays
- Potential opportunities for Term Time Working
- Well maintained fleet of vehicles, delivering to schools, colleges, care homes, council buildings etc.
- CPC training provided by ESPOs own Approved Training Centre
- Free parking on-site
- Maintain current Category C Licence.
- Maintain digital tachograph card (possess digital tachograph).
- No more than 3 penalty offences for moving traffic offences.
- Demonstrable practical application of multi-drop parcel delivery or similar customer focused service.
