We are seeking an enthusiastic and versatile General Science Teacher to join a supportive Science department, starting at the end of September 2025. You will teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, inspiring students to develop scientific knowledge, curiosity, and practical skills.
Duties as a General Science Teacher:
Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at KS3 and KS4.
Assess and track pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
Create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and curiosity.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop resources, schemes of work, and best practice.
Contribute to extracurricular science activities, including clubs, trips, and school events.
Ideal General Science Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in a science-related subject.
Ability to teach all three sciences confidently at KS3 and KS4.
Strong classroom management, organisational, and communication skills as a General Science Teacher.
Enthusiastic and passionate about inspiring young scientists.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
