The Role:
The Chef de Partie is responsible for managing specific sections of the kitchen, ensuring the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food meet Hilton’s high-quality standards. This role reports directly to the Sous Chef and plays a key part in efficient kitchen operations, working to reduce waste and enhance productivity. The Chef de Partie also supports junior team members, ensures high food safety standards are upheld, and contributes to a positive guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a designated section of the kitchen, ensuring food preparation and presentation meet our culinary standards.
- Ensure dishes are prepared according to recipes and specifications, consistently delivering high-quality meals.
- Oversee food preparation, maintaining portion control, quality, and consistency at all times.
- Assist with meal preparation based on forecasted demand, ensuring efficiency and minimal waste.
- Keep your workstation clean and organised throughout the shift, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and food production.
