About the role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Front of House Supervisor to oversee the smooth delivery of service at King Edwards School Working closely with the catering and kitchen teams, you’ll ensure every customer enjoys a warm welcome, exceptional service, and high-quality food presentation. This is a hands-on role, perfect for someone who thrives in a busy hospitality environment and enjoys leading a team to deliver excellence.
You will be joining Holroyd Howe, one of the UK’s leading contract caterers, providing fresh, innovative food services solely to independent schools and colleges. We are a team of experienced professionals who tailor our catering service provision specifically to suit children of all ages in order to meet the bespoke requirements of each school.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the front-of-house team to deliver excellent service
- Maintain high standards of food presentation and dining area cleanliness
- Ensure all hospitality events run smoothly and professionally
- Monitor and respond to customer feedback in a positive and proactive way
- Support with ordering, stock control, and record keeping
- Uphold all food safety, allergen, and health & safety procedures
Qualifications
Candidate Profile
- Experience in a front-of-house or customer service supervisory role
- Strong leadership and people skills, with a positive and approachable manner
- Excellent communication skills, both face-to-face and written
- Well-organised, with the ability to prioritise tasks in a busy environment
- Knowledge of food safety and allergen management procedures
- Passionate about hospitality and delivering a great customer experience
