Salary: Starting Salary is £26,824 - £27,694 per annum (pro-rata for part-time)

About the Role

As a Licensing Support Officer you will be working as part of a team to provide clerical and administrative support to the licensing service that is to a high standard and operated in an efficient and friendly manner and in line with the legal requirements, in particular:

  1. Answering licensing enquiries and when necessary advising on the requirements of various licenses and registrations;
  2. Liaising with Council officers and outside agencies in order to progress applications;
  3. Producing forms documents and correspondence on databases and using Microsoft Office systems including Word and Excel;
  4. Maintenance of records and files;
  5. Taking card payments

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Worked with customers in a regulatory environment to promote legal requirements and good practice
  • Demonstrate your ability to plan and manage a reactive workload to meet legislative and corporate deadlines
  • Have used information technology in the workplace

- This post is covered by the statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) (English Language Requirement for public sector workers) and therefore the ability to speak fluent English, is an essential requirement for the role.
