We’re seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Asset Management Administrator to join our dynamic team on a 12 month fixed term contract. This role is central to ensuring the smooth operation of our in-house and subcontractor repairs, as well as maintaining accurate and compliant databases across the organisation. You’ll be responsible for processing payroll for our trade operative team, managing out-of-hours emergency call schedules, and overseeing the flow of subcontractor and material invoices so a good eye for detail will be beneficial. Your work will involve liaising with managers, suppliers, and contractors to ensure outstanding jobs are completed and closed in time for year-end accounting.
You’ll play a key role in maintaining our approved contractors list, ensuring compliance with internal standards and the Procurement Act 2023. You’ll also support contract managers with supplier scheduling and compliance, and provide administrative support for our fleet operations, including MOTs, fuel cards, servicing, breakdowns, and accident management. In addition, you’ll handle a range of secretarial tasks such as managing correspondence, recharges, missed appointments, pricing jobs, raising purchase orders, taking minutes, and coordinating mail merges. This is a varied and fast-paced role that requires a proactive approach and a commitment to high standards.
About you
You’ll be someone who thrives in a busy environment and enjoys working both independently and as part of a team. You’ll have experience using housing repair and CRM systems and be confident in your ability to prioritise and organise a varied workload. Your communication skills will be strong, both verbally and in writing, and you’ll be comfortable resolving complex queries across departments. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is essential, along with excellent numeracy skills.
Ideally, you’ll bring experience in providing administrative support within housing, repairs, or a similar field. Knowledge of COSHH and manual handling would be beneficial, though not essential. You’ll be a natural problem solver with a customer-focused mindset and a keen eye for detail. If you’re ready to take on a role that makes a real difference behind the scenes, we’d love to hear from you.
