Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Operator with forklift certification to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently handling, storing, and moving agricultural products and materials within our warehouse facility, ensuring accuracy, safety, and timely order fulfilment.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, move, and stack agricultural products and supplies.

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and documentation.

Organise and maintain warehouse inventory, ensuring proper labelling and storage conditions for agricultural goods.

Prepare and package products for shipment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.

Perform regular inventory counts and report discrepancies.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment, adhering to all safety protocols and company policies.

Collaborate with warehouse team members and other departments to meet production and shipping deadlines.

Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or operational issues to the supervisor promptly.
Qualifications:

Proven experience as a warehouse operator or similar role, with a focus on agricultural products preferred.

Valid forklift operator certification and demonstrated safe forklift operation skills.

Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and best practices.

Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and loading machinery.

Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

Physical stamina to lift heavy loads, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions if required.

Basic understanding of agricultural products and customer needs.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
