SEND Teaching Assistant needed in Salford with Step Teachers!
We're looking for someone who has a proven track record of successfully supporting children with additional needs.

This is a vacancy for a SEND Teaching Assistant at an outstanding special needs school in Salford.
The basics:
• SEND Teaching Assistant at special needs school in Salford for children aged 9-19 with Autism & Complex Needs.
• Starting ASAP
• Full time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm.
• Expected to go perm eventually for the right person.
• £90-110/day DOE - Paid PAYE, we don't use umbrella companies!
• Equal pay to perm staff from 13th week onwards of a placement.
• Step Perks - 24 hr GP, discounts on shops, cinemas, gyms etc.
• FREE CPD via Step Teachers, The National College & Creative Education
• Refer-A-Friend - earn £100*
• New DBS Refunds - full refund after 20 days of work with us!

How you'll help:
• Provide targeted learning interventions on a 1:1 and small group basis in a unique setting.
• There may also be social, emotional & behavioural needs to support, and children that will need lots of positive reinforcement.
• You have the chance to adapt your approach to each pupil.
• Contribute to a safe, fun & inclusive classroom environment.
• Work with the class teacher, SENCO, SLT, parents and outside professionals.
• Report on behaviours, incidents and disclosures to the DSL.
Your new workplace:

• Small classrooms of no more than 10 students.

What We Need:

• Proof of Right to Work & Address in the UK.
• DBS certificate on the Update Service (or be happy to apply for one).
• At least 2 professional references covering the last 2 years.
• Overseas Police Check (if applicable).
