Velox Early Years is a specialist Nursery agency which supports a range of clients across the Hampshire area. This client runs a Day Nursery which provides outstanding care and education Based in the centre of Southampton.
The nursery is proud to offer a warm, friendly, and inclusive environment, where children and families from all backgrounds feel supported and valued. With a diverse team of skilled practitioners, they specialise in helping children for whom English may not be the first language, ensuring that every child has the best possible start in life.
Recognised as a beacon of excellent care in Southampton, we combine strong educational links with local authorities and the college, alongside a stimulating, child-centred curriculum that prepares children for a multicultural world.
✅ What We're Looking For
- A positive, caring, and supportive attitude
- EYFS Level 2 or 3 qualification (essential)
- Experience or enthusiasm for working in a diverse, multicultural setting
- Knowledge of safeguarding and Early Years development
- Energy, creativity, and the ability to inspire young minds
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting children's play, learning, and development in line with EYFS
- Helping to deliver stimulating, creative, and inclusive activities
- Building strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and carers
- Promoting a safe, caring, and supportive environment
- Encouraging confidence, independence, and social skills
