Position: Personal Assistant Support Worker
Location: Halifax, West Yorkshire (HX1)
I am a busy and motivated deaf and disabled woman in my 30s living in my own home. I have a large, friendly team of PAs, and we are on the lookout for someone looking for new experiences, good fun, confident, committed and friendly to join us!
We are looking for:
Great Communicators
People who love dogs and animals!
Willingness to learn BSL is a must
Able to support me with, but not limited to: Housework, Cooking, Cleaning, Shopping, and Personal Care
Enthusiastic and confident to support me outside of the home and in the car, and at swimming sessions
Enjoy Gigs, Travel, Festivals and Events!
Flexibility
Essential Criteria:
Car Driver Essential (Use of the employer’s automatic vehicle)
Dog and animal person Essential
DBS check will be undertaken
The ability to provide sleepover support is essential
Excellent Communication Skills
Confident Swimming
Hours available:
Alternating weekends - Must be available for alternating Sat - Sun 10.15 am - 10.30 am & Sun-Mon - 10.15 am - 9.30 am (1 x 24-hour shift alternating weekends)
Long weekend trips - Fridays to Mondays
1-2 Week Holidays both UK and Abroad
Bank Cover
Hourly Rate starting from £13 per hour (£70 sleep allowance for the hours between 11 pm - 7 am)
