Crynodeb
In this role, you will; be responsible for the contract management of the TEC Services contract, including contract compliance and KPI monitoring, enforcing the contract service credits should there be non-compliance. Be responsible for developing and implementing the Council’s TEC offer in line with the Councils TEC Strategy, working with Medequip Connect to ensure the Council’s strategic aims and objectives are being met. They will have line management responsibility of the TEC Technician role and Service Development Support Officer – TEC and Information and Advice.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy
Drive forward the development of Technology Enabled Care Services in North Somerset, ensuring that relevant actions in the TEC strategy action plan are delivered.
Set up sustainable systems and processes to collect, collate and provide information for strategic planning for TEC.
Lead on the development and provision of TEC solutions for specialist services with a view to achieving better outcomes and financial savings.
Prepare detailed updates on the progress of all areas of work for managers and colleagues, ensuring compliance with NSC priorities.
Provide supervision, management, and development of the TEC Technician and Service Development Support Officer TEC and Information and Advice roles.
Undertake desk-based, and onsite research and consolidate into succinct reports.
Establish & maintain appropriate links between colleagues and other professionals to encourage a clear understanding of each other’s priorities and ways of working.
Regularly review processes and establish new ones where needed to ensure clarity and consistency.
Developing Positive Relationships
Work closely with the Transformation Project Manager to promote good working relationships within the Transformation team.
Provide supervision, management, and development of others to improve service standards and delivery and share best practice.
Drive forward the TEC Champions role within the Council and external partners to ensure staff are engaged with developments and feel confident and supported to promote the use of TEC within their roles.
Work with people who draw on care and support and their carers to design services that meet their needs.
Contract Management
Manage the TEC Services contract, ensuring its success and provider compliance, including overseeing a successful transition from analogue to digital.
Work closely with the TEC Services contract provider and team members to establish robust business reporting and benefits realisation.
Work closely with the TEC Services contract provider and their staff to ensure information, advice, guidance and training is provided to colleagues and partner organisations to ensure successful culture change relating to the assessment and provision of TEC.
General
Communicate effectively with staff, colleagues, managers and businesses, both verbally and in writing, within information sharing protocols and record keeping policies.
Valid driving licence and own transport, or be able to provide alternative, suitable method of travel is an essential condition for this role.
