Salary £17- £21hr (Lots of overtime available)
Monday–Thursday: 07:30–16:30, Friday: 07:30–13:30

Role Overview
As a CNC Turner Programmer, you’ll set up, program, and operate CNC lathes, particularly models like Hardinge Cobra and Talent (with live tooling), HAAS and Harrison Alpha S (manual/CNC) to manufacture precision components to exacting standards
Key Responsibilities:
⦁ Program CNC lathes using Fanuc
⦁ Set up and operate machines for 42 mm bar work up to 180 mm billets, including live tooling operations
⦁ Produce small to medium batch precision components based on engineering drawings
⦁ Perform first-off inspections and use measuring tools (micrometers, verniers, etc.) to ensure accuracy
⦁ Maintain rigorous quality control and adhere to ISO procedures
⦁ Collaborate with colleagues to optimise processes and uphold high standards
Candidate Profile
⦁ Qualified either as an apprentice-trained or time-served CNC Turner Programmer
⦁ Demonstrable experience programming and operating Fanuc-controlled or similar CNC lathes with live tooling
⦁ Strong understanding of ISO 9001 standards and precision engineering practices
⦁ Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings and conducting precision measurements
⦁ Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and ability to work independently
⦁ Based within commuting distance of Northampton or willing to relocate
