Site Manager
I'm recruiting on behalf of a very busy main contractor who operate in the Northern Home Counties and specialise in refurbishment projects, their currently in the market for a Site Manager to start ASAP.
About the role:
You will be working alongside a visiting Project Manager who will visit once a week, the project is a office refurbishment and which includes Civils , solar install , Oil boiler install Mechanical.
Responsibilities for Site Manager:
- Oversee day-to-day operations on construction sites.
- Enforce health & safety protocols, manage risks, and address any issues promptly.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders, including subcontractors, suppliers, and clients, to keep the project on track.
- Maintain quality standards by monitoring workmanship, materials, and adherence to specifications.
- When challenges arise, you will find solutions to keep the project moving forward.
- Effectively communicate by liaising with team members, report progress, and address concerns.
Requirement for Site Manager:
- CSCS
- SMSTS
- FAAW
