Holidays tour operation now includes specialist cruise brand ‘National Geographic - Lindblad Expeditions.’ Known as the ‘Pioneers in Expedition Travel’ this exciting expedition brand covers a worldwide portfolio of luxury adventure cruises, offering guests un-paralleled choice in the world’s most remote and awe-inspiring destinations, across a fleet of 22 ships.The Fred. Holidays tour operation, and it’s GSA brands support both the trade and direct consumer through its ability to tailor-make each holiday style.As demand in the UK market begins to increase, we are now looking for a highly motivated, passionate, skilled and experienced individual with a specific passion for expedition cruising. Previous experience in the expedition sector is desirable. This passion and experience should extend into a drive to convert sales leads into bookings with an aim to achieve and exceed department targets at every possible opportunity. The Expedition Sales & Concierge Specialist will be the main point of contact for all trade partners and direct guests from first point of enquiry, through to fulfilling quotations, converting sales and offering a dedicated after sales/concierge service, completing the guest journey all the way through to welcome home letters and re-booking suggestions, in order to maximise customer retention. They will work closely with the Head of UK Sales to ensure all enquiries are dealt with in a timely manner and the whole booking journey is of the highest standard.As a member of this fast-paced team, the successful candidate will act as an ambassador to the Fred. Tour Operation, and specifically National Geographic - Lindblad Expeditions through their sales delivery, and after sales services whilst maintaining high customer service standards and income levels.This is a Full-Time position working 35 hours per week (Monday - Friday and Saturdays on a rota basis) Offering a basic salary of £25,000 - £28,000 plus the opportunity to earn more through a bonus scheme. This position can be based at our Head Office in Ipswich, alternatively we are open to remote home working candidates who have experience and are committed to occasionally visiting our Head Office in Ipswich.
