Are you ready to bring energy, empathy, and expertise to a Barnsley primary school? We're looking for a Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant to join a supportive team, helping pupils grow in confidence and achieve their potential.
Your role will include:
- Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management
- Leading small group sessions in phonics, reading, and catch-up learning
- Supporting pupils with special educational needs, including those with EHCPs
- Using learning plans to guide targeted support
- Creating and adapting resources to meet individual needs
- Promoting positive behaviour and inclusive learning
What you'll need:
- A Level 3 qualification (or equivalent)
- Recent experience in a school setting (within the last 2 years)
- A strong work ethic and commitment to pupil progress
- A DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

- Calm, patient, and proactive
- Familiar with safeguarding and school procedures
- Experienced in supporting pupils with SEN and/or EAL
