Location - Swindon
Contract - Full-Time (Temporary on-going)
Morgan Hunt is delighted to be working with a leading FE College / Training Provider in Swindon who is seeking an experienced Engineering Lecturer to deliver high-quality teaching and learning to Level 2 & Level 3 EAL apprentices.
- Deliver engaging practical and theoretical sessions across:
- Turning and Milling (manual & CNC)
- CNC Machine Operation and Programming
- 3D Printing & Additive Manufacturing
- Engineering Drawing & CAD (preferably SolidWorks)
- Maintenance of Machining Assemblies
- PLCs, Wiring & Testing Electrical Circuits
- Pneumatics & Fluid Power Systems
- Engineering Mathematics
- Engineering Project Supervision
- Develop and implement schemes of work, lesson plans and assessment plans.
- Provide marking, portfolio referencing and constructive feedback to learners.
- Support apprentices in achieving their qualifications and ensure progression.
- Deliver both workshop-based practical training and classroom-based theory.
- Prior experience teaching Level 2 and Level 3 EAL apprentices or similar vocational learners.
- Strong understanding of apprenticeship standards and work-based learning.
- Ability to manage a classroom environment and adapt delivery to different learning styles.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and digital platforms to support delivery and assessment.
- A recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one) is desirable.
