We are looking for a qualified enthusiastic early years practitioner to join our under 2’s room who holds at least a level 3 childcare qualification. The position is 37.5 hours per week working Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities & Duties
-To assist in the day to day running of the setting, to ensure the routine is carried out effectively and individual needs of the children are met.
-Adhering to company policies and procedures and comply with current legislation
-Implement Safeguarding/Child Protection Policy & Procedure
- To implement the EYFS within the setting by being responsible for the completion of key children observations and assessments
-Completion of planning to ensure it supports children's learning and development.
-Be able to create and maintain professional partnerships with parents/carers
-Be a positive role model to children in their care
-To be able to communicate effectively with staff, parents and children on a daily basis
-Adhere to health and safety procedures including carrying out risk assessment and safety checks upon opening and closing room
The successful candidate will be creative, enthusiastic, reliable and have an understanding of child development, Early Years Foundation Stage Framework and safeguarding procedures.
Be required to hold a valid DBS certificate.
