About the Role: Camden Council is seeking a skilled Multi Trader to provide short-term critical cover within their Supporting Communities team. This hands-on role involves carrying out a wide range of building repairs, maintenance, renewals, and replacements across council-owned properties—both occupied and void. You’ll also support occupational therapy adaptations and larger-scale refurbishment projects, all in line with current standards and best trade practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver reactive and planned maintenance across council premises
Complete works to a professional standard in at least four trade disciplines
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and council procedures
Work independently and efficiently to meet service demands
Essential Skills & Experience:
Competence in a minimum of four trades, including:
Plumbing
Carpentry
Plastering
Electrical (Part P)
Tiling
Painting & Decorating
Gas Safe
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to meet deadlines and troubleshoot general issues
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
