Salary: £37,401 – £42,503 p.a. (pending nationally agreed pay review and depending on qualifications and experience). Full-time (37 hours per week). Full year. Permanent. Based at London Road campus.
Are you an experienced carpenter, teacher or assessor with a strong background in both site carpentry and architectural joinery? Shrewsbury College is looking for a passionate professional to join our expanding apprenticeships team, working closely with apprentices and employers across Shropshire.
In this rewarding role, you’ll support the development of the next generation of skilled tradespeople, helping them achieve excellence in their craft. You’ll be part of a dynamic and supportive environment, making a real impact in vocational education.
What we’re looking for:
• Proven experience in site carpentry and architectural joinery
• A commitment to high standards and learner success
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A Teaching or Assessing qualification is desirable but not essential – full training will be provided
