The Opportunity:
Our client, a leading UK law firm, is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee working capital management across a major Legal Firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage billing, credit control, WIP, and client accounts; resolve or escalate issues
  • Analyse accounts receivable and billing forecasts to meet financial deadlines
  • Drive reduction of lock-up levels and improve working capital processes
  • Produce accurate MI to support decision-making
  • Ensure compliance with VAT, Law Society of Scotland Accounting Rules, and SRA requirements
  • Support and train finance team members

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience in working capital, revenue control, or finance in legal or corporate environments
  • Strong knowledge of WIP, billing, and credit control
  • Confident communicator capable of influencing partners and colleagues
  • Highly organised, proactive, and solutions-focused
  • Comfortable with finance systems and process improvements
