What skills and experience we're looking for
The Deputy Headteacher is a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, working in close partnership with the Headteacher to provide inspirational leadership and ensure the highest standards of education, safeguarding, and wellbeing across the school. The post-holder will be a highly visible presence in the school community and will model the values and ethos of the school at all times.
We are seeking an individual who is:
• Strategic and visionary, able to see the bigger picture while driving improvement at all levels. Inspirational and resilient, motivating staff and students through high expectations, positivity, and determination.
• Collaborative and approachable, building strong professional relationships with colleagues, pupils, parents, governors, and external partners. Decisive and accountable, able to manage complex issues with fairness, integrity, and professionalism.
• Adaptable and innovative, open to change and confident in leading new initiatives and opportunities.
• Committed and child-centred, with an unwavering focus on safeguarding and securing the best outcomes for every pupil.
