What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for an outstanding, inspirational and committed teacher to join our Geography Department. Applicants should be well-qualified and passionate Geographers, willing to work as part of a collaborative department to deliver engaging experiences to all students. Geography is taught throughout KS3 as a single subject and is a very popular option at KS4 (WJEC/EDUQAS B) and KS5 (Edexcel).

The department is committed to delivering an engaging and relevant Geography curriculum, along with offering high quality fieldwork opportunities to all students. A suitable candidate will have a keen interest in both these areas and understand the importance of Geography in the 21st Century. You will be expected to teach across the full age and ability range and work with other colleagues to ensure all students make excellent progress and Geography continues to flourish at the school.

Candidates will be able to deliver Art at Key Stage 3, 4 and 5.

Applications are welcome from suitably qualified and experienced teachers, ECTs are also welcome to apply.

Our standard loading factor is 22/26. Where a teacher’s timetable comprises less than 22 teaching periods they will be required to cover other classes.
