What skills and experience we're looking for
Bruntcliffe Academy is seeking to recruit a truly inspirational colleague to lead a new and exciting area of our work as a school, closely linked to a programme of national significance which is taking place across our trust.
The successful candidate will lead all aspects of our work overseeing teachers who are in Years 3, 4 and 5 of their career. The aim of the role is to ensure that each of those colleagues is supported to become a truly exceptional classroom practitioner. This will be known in our trust from September 2026 onwards as Artisan Teacher Status.
It goes without saying that the successful applicant will need to be an exceptional teacher who has already shown the ability to inspire and develop others. That colleague will need to have excellent organisational skills, an eye for detail, communication skills which are of the highest order and an ability to work across one of the most respected and high performing trusts in the country.
Though there is flexibility regarding the subject that the successful candidate will teach we would particularly welcome applications from colleagues with expertise within humanities subjects.
