Are you a passionate and caring individual who loves working with children? We're looking for a dedicated Nursery Assistant to join our team and help create a fun, safe, and stimulating environment for our little ones.
About the RoleAs a Nursery Assistant, you'll be a vital part of our childcare team, providing high-quality care and support to children from birth to five years old. You'll work closely with other staff members to ensure the smooth running of the nursery and the well-being of all children.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with daily routines, including mealtimes, nap times, and toileting.
- Planning and leading engaging activities and play sessions.
- Supporting children's learning and development.
- Ensuring a safe and clean environment.
- Communicating effectively with parents and guardians.
- A genuine love for working with young children.
- Experience in a childcare setting (preferred, but not essential).
- Knowledge of early years development.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A positive, patient, and enthusiastic attitude.
- A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
- A supportive and friendly work environment.
