Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Tai Chi sessions for individuals and groups across varying skill levels
  • Design safe, effective, and progressive class plans tailored to participant needs.
  • Demonstrate proper form, technique, and breathing methods
  • Offer modifications and support for participants with different physical abilities
  • Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all attendees
  • Maintain current certifications, including CPR/AED
  • Manage basic administrative tasks such as attendance tracking and scheduling
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to participant enquiries
  • Adapt lessons for both in-person and online formats as needed

✅ Qualifications

  • Proven experience teaching Tai Chi or related movement practices
  • Certification in Tai Chi instruction (preferred)
  • Current CPR/AED certification
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire participants
  • Comfortable with technology for virtual instruction and class management
