Property Client Accounts Administrator | Broadway Market, Hackney, London | Full Time | Working hours are 9:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday | £27,000 - £33,000 depending on experience

Established in 2001, our client is a well-regarded Property Sales, Lettings & Management company based inthe vibrant Broadway Market in Hackney. They are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Property Client Accounts Administrator to join their team. This role involves managing all financial aspects of their lettings and management portfolio, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and providing excellent service to landlords and tenants.

Are you the right person for the job?

• 1–3 years’ experience in property accounts, lettings administration, or a similar finance role
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing transactions
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and property accounting software desirable, eg, Alto or similar.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with client money regulations and ARLA compliance (advantageous but not essential)

What will your role look like?

• Process rent receipts, payments, and invoices accurately and on time
• Reconcile client accounts, bank statements, and deposit registrations
• Maintain accurate financial records in line with Client Money Protection and ARLA guidelines
• Assist with the preparation of client statements and reports
• Handle queries from landlords, tenants, contractors and property managers
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, company policies, and property regulations
• Assisting the Company director on ad hoc company financial and administrative tasks

• Salary range: £27,000 - £33,000 Depending on Experience
