Higher Level Teaching Assistant – Resource Base
Grade 6 SCP 18
32.5 hours per week
Term time - includes 1 Trust Development Day and 1 INSET
Start Date: ASAP
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to join our school, working alongside a highly skilled Resource Base Team and Additional Educational Needs team.
You will have previous experience working with children, young people, or adults with specific additional learning needs and ideally will already hold HLTA status or have a willingness to complete the training.
Your role will involve working closely with the Lead Teacher in the Resource Base to ensure students are able to access the mainstream classroom curriculum either through delivering support and lessons in the base or supporting pupils in their mainstream class. You will be required to assist with school break and/or lunchtime duties.
Full training will be given.
Our school belongs to the Palladian Academy Trust, which is passionate about providing opportunities for its pupils and staff. This is an exciting time to join the developing trust and to further your own career in education. You will be joining a lively community of schools that offers professional development and a supportive work environment as well as a generous local government pension scheme.
The Palladian Academy Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. A satisfactory DBS check is required for this post prior to commencement. The postholder will be expected to contribute to the protection of children as appropriate, in accordance with any agreed policies and/or guidelines, reporting any issues or concerns to their immediate line manager.
