Salary - 3.4 Technician 3 GO4 FTE £30,024 to £32,597
Actual salary - £12,242 to £13,291, term time only, 2.5 days per week.
Contract - Permanent, Monday and Tuesday, 8am to 4pm, plus Friday afternoon 1pm to 4pm
Contract Start - As soon as possible
Closing Date - Friday 3rd October 2025
Castell Alun High School is a very successful English medium high school with over 1290 students, situated in the village of Hope, Flintshire. We work diligently to provide every child with an education which will empower them with the skills, knowledge and understanding they will need to prosper in modern society. We pride ourselves on the quality of pastoral care provided by all members of staff. We are looking to appoint a well-qualified and enthusiastic Science Technician to provide specialist support to our successful and thriving Science Learning Area. Duties will include the preparation and maintenance of resources as well as providing support to the teaching staff and students across the Learning Area, from Key Stage 3 through to A-Level. Previous experience of working in a similar environment would be an advantage.
