Air Conditioning Service & Installation Engineer
Location: Cambridge
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum

ARC is recruiting on behalf of a valued client for an experienced Air Conditioning Service & Installation Engineer to join their growing team, covering both commercial and residential projects across Cambridge and the surrounding areas.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled engineer who enjoys working on a variety of projects, from installations through to servicing, diagnostics, and repair. The role offers stability, progression, and the chance to join a supportive, established business.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install new air conditioning systems, including VRV/VRF and split units, to industry standards.
• Carry out routine maintenance, servicing, and fault-finding on a range of systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues within commercial and domestic AC systems.
• Order and fit replacement parts when required.
• Test systems in line with current F-Gas requirements and record accurate results.
• Work independently to identify and resolve issues while upholding company standards and safety procedures.
• Deliver excellent customer service, providing professional advice and support where needed.
• Maintain accurate records of work using the company’s operating system.
Skills & Qualifications:
• F-Gas qualification (C&G 2079).
• NVQ Level 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration.
• Strong working knowledge of current F-Gas regulations.
• Experience in installation, maintenance, diagnostics, and fault-finding.
• Ability to work under own initiative with strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.
