Property Compliance & Building Safety/Risk Manager needed in West London Paying £500 per day ref 005422

Full time hours on a temporary basis

About the Role:

You will be responsible for ensuring all statutory compliance obligations are met across the estate, maintaining buildings free from risk, and supporting the implementation of best practice operations. You’ll work closely with facilities teams, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular site audits and inspections of building fabric, M&E systems, and documentation.
  • Monitor compliance through helpdesk systems, remedial actions, and reporting.
  • Develop specifications for statutory maintenance and inspection regimes.
  • Support mobilisation of new properties from handover to operational readiness.
  • Specify, procure, and project manage compliance-related works, validating performance and savings.
  • Embed safety and compliance into refurbishment and capital projects.
  • Define CAFM system requirements for compliance reporting and dashboard development.
  • Maintain accurate asset registers and support investment planning for risk mitigation.
  • Ensure all work activities are risk assessed and corrective actions are implemented promptly.
  • Act as Responsible Person for delegated areas including Legionella, Asbestos, M&E Safety, Lifts, and Pressure Systems.
  • Provide expert advice on compliance and technical services to internal teams.
  • Liaise with insurance, planning, building control, and regulatory bodies to ensure safe service delivery.
  • Foster strong relationships with contractors and suppliers to ensure quality and timely deliver
  • Ideally:
  • Proven experience in property compliance, building safety, and risk management.
  • Strong technical knowledge of statutory compliance areas.
  • Experience conducting audits and managing compliance systems.
  • Project management experience in compliance-related works.
  • Proficiency in CAFM systems and data reporting.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and contractor management skills.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
