Torus Group is seeking a motivated Extra Care Administrator to join our Extra Care team. In this front-facing role, you’ll deliver
a welcoming reception service and provide essential administrative support across our Extra Care schemes. Working as part of a
high-performing team, you’ll help ensure residents receive responsive, person-centred care while contributing to the smooth
running of our services.
This is a rewarding opportunity to join a supportive team dedicated to delivering high-quality care and support.
What you will be doing:
* Play a key role in providing a customer focussed reception service in an Extra Care setting
* Provide a customer-focused reception service, responding to queries from residents, families, and stakeholders.
* Report and track repairs, liaising with residents as needed.
* Welcome visitors and contractors; arrange meeting rooms and refreshments.
* Manage office supplies, equipment, and service literature.
* Maintain confidential records in line with policies and GDPR.
* Organise and archive electronic files; take and store meeting minutes.
* Support procurement processes, liaising with finance and procurement teams.
* Manage guest bedroom bookings and handle cash transactions.
* Work flexibly to meet service needs, including occasional evenings and weekends.
What we are looking for:
* Experience of working with older and or vulnerable people within a housing or social care environment
* Experience of providing a customer focused reception service
* Experience of providing administration support to colleagues, using excellent IT skills with good knowledge of Microsoft
software including Excel, Word and Publisher
* Ability to deliver tasks and outcomes within agreed timescales
* The ability to learn in house systems effectively
* GCSE grade 4 and above education or equivalent relevant qualification, training or experience.
Interview Process:
* Candidates will undergo in-person interviews, consisting of a competency-based questions. Interviews will commence w/c 13th
October 2025.
