Leadership To positively contribute to divisional developments in relation to nursing practice. To advocate and ensure service user voices are embedded within service development. To contribute to strategic nurse recruitment and workforce planning. Clinical To demonstrate expertise in ADHD-related nursing skills including crisis intervention, medication management, epilepsy care, and mental health comorbidities. To involve people in developing their own care plans, respecting dignity, choice, and individual needs (racial, cultural, sexual, and religious). To carry out physical health checks in line with SaBP assessment templates and NICE guidance. To undertake risk assessments and formulate risk management plans. To work collaboratively with acute, primary care, and other healthcare services. To build and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, external agencies, service users, and families. Professional To remain legally and professionally accountable, adhering to the NMC Code of Conduct and Trust policies. To act in line with the Mental Health Act (1983), Mental Capacity Act (2005), and Safeguarding responsibilities. To act as a practice assessor/teacher, supporting education and training. To participate in audits, research, and quality assurance activities to ensure continuous improvement. To maintain current knowledge of research, best practice, and policy within learning disabilities and ADHD.
