Our customer focus is based on quality, service and consistency and our service-led ethos is one of the key drivers in the growth of our market share over the past 10 years.We are currently recruiting for a Night Shift Production Operative to join our team at our Eclipse factory in Ibstock, LE67 6HS.Shift pattern: 5 on 5 off, 5 on 5 off, 4 on 4 off / Night 6pm till 6amKey Responsibilities Include:Ability to take ownership of the roleHands on Cleaning of machinery and plantAbility to rotor and prioritise your own workloadOperation of mobile plant as requiredGreasing and oiling of production plantAdhering to health & safety, quality and environmental systemsTo deliver through the process improvement initiatives and continuous improvementAssist with production when requiredCreating and maintaining the highest standards of 5S’s housekeeping and environmental managementAssist in the development of SSOP’s and Risk AssessmentsEssential Qualifications & Experience:Excellent timekeeping, attendance and flexibilitySelf-motivatedNumerate & literate.Team working attitude.Ability to also work alone.Excellent communication skills.High degree of Health & Safety awareness.Ability to work as part of a team or on your own.Ability to learn to operate key manufacturing and mobile plant.Willingness to undergo further training and development.Previous labour intensive roleDesirable Qualifications & Experience:Experience of working in a continuous improvement environment.A certified counterbalance FLT driver is advantageous.A recognised up-skill.Training & DevelopmentIbstock aims to operate to world-class standards and the successful candidate will be required to commit to a focused programme of training and development which will include:Multi-functional operation, possibly cross departmental.5S principles.Localised Health and Safety Procedures.Localised Environmental and Quality Responsibilities.Localised up-skilling.Please note: it is our policy to verify all relevant qualifications.
